Prior to joining the Marriage Healing Center, Mr. Alidoosti provided clinical services in a range of therapeutic settings, working with individuals, couples, adolescents, and families along the way. Mr. Alidoosti has worked with clients on a variety of issues including depression, trauma, self-esteem, anxiety, anger management, infidelity, and parent-child conflict. Since being in private practice, Mr. Alidoosti has provided services to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.
He draws from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), The Gottman Method, and Family Systems. Mr. Alidoosti uses a client-centered approach and believes that a good therapeutic relationship and providing non-judgmental support are essential to successful outcomes.
When it comes specifically to couples and marital therapy, Mr. Alidoosti takes a very collaborative approach. He will help each couple identify their unique vision for the relationship, while also uncovering potentially destructive patterns that may be holding the couple back from achieving this vision. Better understanding the couples’ communication habits often becomes a main focus of therapy, as developing healthier communication lays the groundwork for a stronger, more open and meaningful connection.
